Welcome to Permata Holidays. By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.

1. General

Permata Holidays Sdn. Bhd. is a licensed travel agency based in Langkawi, Malaysia. All bookings made through our website, WhatsApp, or official representatives are subject to these terms and conditions.

2. Booking & Payment

A deposit or full payment is required to confirm your booking.
Full payment must be made before the travel date unless otherwise stated.
Payments made are considered acceptance of our terms and conditions.
All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and may be subject to change without prior notice.

3. Package Inclusions

Only items stated under “Package Includes” are covered.
Any additional services not stated will be charged separately.
Activities are subject to availability and weather conditions.

4. Amendments & Changes

Any request to amend booking details must be made at least 2 Weeks prior to travel date.
Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Permata Holidays reserves the right to make changes to itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances.

5. Cancellation Policy

Deposit payments are non-refundable.
Cancellation made:
- 14 days before travel: partial refund (subject to deduction)
- Less than 7 days: no refund
No-show will be considered a cancellation with no refund.

6. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in our packages.
Customers are strongly advised to purchase their own travel insurance for protection against unforeseen circumstances.

7. Responsibilities of Customers

Customers must ensure all personal details are correct before booking.
Customers are responsible for their own safety, belongings, and travel documents.
Any damage caused to vehicles or accommodations will be charged accordingly.

8. Car Rental Terms

A valid driving license (and IDP for international travellers) is required.
Security deposit may be required depending on vehicle type.
The renter is responsible for:
- Traffic summons
- Damages or accidents
- Late return charges
Fuel is not included unless stated otherwise.
Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as received.

9. Liability Disclaimer

Permata Holidays acts as an intermediary for transportation, accommodation, and activities. We shall not be held liable for:

Injury, loss, or damage during travel
Delays due to weather, traffic, or third-party providers
Any unforeseen events beyond our control

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our control such as:

Natural disasters
Government restrictions
Pandemics
Weather conditions

11. Privacy Policy

All personal information collected will be used solely for booking and communication purposes. We do not share customer information with third parties without consent.
